I have a Viking model 90X made in the early 1980's. it was refinished by Viking several years ago. I never noticed until recently that when I roll the butt only, the butt cap touches the table, but the joint does not touch the table. together with the shaft, the butt cap and tip never leave the table. I can see and feel that the wrap is higher than the wood at both ends of the wrap. can the wrap be repressed down? it is Irish linen wrap. any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. thanks, Ron
