"Matt, I recieved my cue, the Viking V141K with Vikore shaft about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I have had almost two weeks now to play with it and have logged about 20 hours playing with the shaft and Everest tip. I am very pleased with the shaft. It imparts very little squirt similar to other LD shafts I have played with. My cue ball control with the Viking and Vikore shaft has been very good and I definately would recommend this to anyone looking for a good cue and LD shaft at a reasonable price. Matt at Webb Billiards gave me a very good deal on cue and shaft, and Viking was very prompt at delivering this to my home. I have played for the last 10 years with a custom cue and standard maple shaft and LD deflection shaft. Prior to that I played with a Balabushka with a 314 shaft. The Viking V141K at 18.75 oz and Vikore shaft at 12.5 mm is as good or better than my custom cue and much better than the Balabushka with the 314. I typically play 2 to 3 hours a day 5 days per week, and one league night. One thing about the shaft I will change in the future is I find that I like the Tiger Onyx tip better than the Everest. Although both tips are medium hardness the Onyx gives me better control and more draw when I need it. Again I want to thank Matt at Webb Billiards for the prompt and efficient service.
