Vintage Cue - Possible 70's Mali Original

I have placed this cue on EBAY. I bought the cue a couple years ago from a reputable cue dealer in California. He was almost certain that it is an original American made Mali from the 70's. Please have a look and place a bid if you like. Anyone here more knowledegable than myself that can offer an opinion on the maker please feel free to do so. Thanks.

The Pin...

The only thing about that cue that throws up red flags is the pin, all original Mali's had a piloted 5/16-(14 something) pin.

I thought the old ones were 5/16-18 flat face?

Design looks correct as well as the butt cap and bumper. I do remember some 3/8 10 Mali's of that design but I don't think they were 70's.

tho not all were flat faced - it wasn't till late in ther run(late 90's?)
that Mali ever used a 5/16 - 14

i own one. (5/16-14)
the were made an hour away from my house.

and yes, your cue IS a mali.

Id say your looking at at most 150.
I dont think its from the original pool, I had an original mali and I sacrificed it for 2(something)with a guisseppe case and JPs, just to get it in the hands of someone who'd use it. There are collectors for them but few and far between.

Well hopefully someone may be interested as it just sits in my cue rack at home. It is a nice player for someone who needs or wants one.
