FS: Vintage Full Splice (Butterflies) Refinished

Full splice w/butterfly points in between 4 traditional points, 3 alternating veneer's (green, yellow, red). Brass collar and pin w/ white plastic ring in between 2 black plastic rings. 2 pieces of straight grain, hard rock maple fully spliced. Unsure of manufacturer but most likely Brunswick or Adams. The cue has been completely refinished by one of my good friends Brent (stix4sale). 18.5oz. 57 1/2" long. Shaft has a conical taper from 12 1/2mm. It does have a slight wobble in the shaft but playable. Very, very tiny specs of the original black paint is visable in a spot if you hold it in the light. It's very minor and most people probably wouldn't know if I didnt say anything. Just trying to be as clear as possible. The cue has been test hit and plays well with no rattling or any other funny noises.

This cue was in really poor condition when I found it. It originaly had black paint on the lower splice so I wasnt sure if the veneer's where real veneer's, inlayed or simply painted. After Brent got 99% of the black paint off, the cue looked great and restoring it was a must. The cue was most likely a cheap import from Taiwan or China probably late 60's - mid 70's. At that time they were producing some pretty nice stuff now that we look back at it. Keep in mind that Gus Szamboti and Burton Spain (I guess you have to say Herman Rambow as well) set the market for these type of cues. This is a great vintage cue that displays the quality that was being produced at that time.

I will consider a trade or take $100 plus shipping.

If anyone can tell me who the Mfg. is that would be great.
