Violin style case

Thank you for looking. I just started building custom cases. This one is my first one and I made it to hold 4 cues and 4 shafts, it also has a small box that holds chalk, gloves, cue ball, and even though I have a dual claw it'll hold a 3 cue claw. It even has a thin pocket to hold rule books and league paper work.

If anyone is out there that might be interested in having one of these built let me know, I can make it to hold less cues if you want. I can customize it to what you need, I can also make them in a rectangle case that is very similar. These cases also have shoulder straps which come in very handy, especially if you ride a motorcycle.

These cases are great for traveling on plains when you don't want your leather case to get all beat up when checked. With the protection this case gives your cues you'll be flying worry free.

I'm charging $275 plus shipping for these hand made cases. I thought they were going to be supper cheap to build but I used expensive padded cloth as the liners and they are well worth it.

The pictures don't really do much justice. Any questions please feel free to ask, if you have any ideas that might make these better or any suggestions please send me a pm or email. Thank you.

I like the different style, props to you for making something different. Question: don't the butts and shafts rub up against each other when the case is closed or do you have a divider of some sorts to separate the two? Good luck with your endeavor!

I figured someone would mentioned the predators. Lol

Thank your for the comments and questions.

As far as the rubbing, the shafts and butts all sit sunken in so they don't touch each other while closed.

The rectangle ones might have a lock on them, l'll check tomorrow. This was the 1st one I made however it has dual zippers so you could have a small lock to connect the 2 or I might be able to add one. I've got a couple orders so I'll check into it more during the next build.

These are perfect for motorcycle riders. They have straps on the back side.

I'll have pictures of a few different style cases once I finish the ones I'm working on, it'll give a good idea of some of the options you will have.

If you'd like more pictures or have any questions please let me know. I'm also building a 4x5 case but it'll be in a rectangle style case vs the triangular one. I'll have pictures up shortly.

WOW!!!! As someone who has played the violin/viola for years, and also a pool playing fanatic, I'm SUPER impressed with these cases. I will be contacting you for sure when I have some spare change laying around. Well done!!

Thank you for your interest. The 1st one pictured was just to see how hard it would be and what it would take, but the 2nd one pictured is the result after fine tuning the process and making a product I'd be proud to send out. I gotta say you won't be disappointed.

I have all the material and cases to get started on a build today if anyone else is interested. So far the cases have been coming out great and a lot better than the 1st pictures you see in this thread.

Are there any plans to attempt an insert to divide the area holding shafts/butts? Maybe even a zipped/padded hard layer? I know they should stay firmly in place the way you have it set up but just in case...

That's my concern, too. No matter how tight they slot in there, I'd be worried that any jostling of the case would knock one loose. That would keep me from buying one, were I in the market for a case.

Otherwise, love the concept. I'm always running out of storage space in my cowboy case pockets.

Nicely done. Hope you sell a lot of them. The Preds make the classy case classier.
