So as for argument about the breaker making a ball on the break , can you consistently make the ball on the break in the virtual world.

I know our treasure Bob Jewett has done studies on the randomness of the break but can't some control be gained when 1 concentrates on the effect of 1 ball?

These games are made to mimic real life. So if you have inconsistences in your virtual game it will reflect that on the table. I've noticed that "real pool" knowledge does translate to the table.

If you created a virtual player and had them use the virtual table, And programed it to hit the break the same everytime. I would think the outcome would comeout the same everytime.

in Shooter´s pool they have two options. Triangle rack which is = bad racks
or template racks = about perfect racks where you can use cut break effectively.

I ha
The app games on phones are incredibly popular (but not realistic), which I think eats into the market for new players.

Shooters pool is great and worth checking out.
I have heard the VP games are quite realistic , is that not the case?

I actually met Shooters pool brothers who made the game. They were playing in Spanish open and doing prp to marchroom.. Livescores etc..
There is 2 minor mistakes in physics still in game compared real when ball hit rail with folllow and speed. I told to rhem what they are and they were pleased the feedback. Promised to fix those in next patch.
