I've noticed that the way I need to aim cut shots appears to be different for a left vs. right handed cut. For example, if I set up the same angle cut shot on the right and the left hand long rail, the aiming requirement appears to be different. For cuts to the right, i.e. down the left hand rail, I have to aim fuller than those down the right hand rail. I shoot lefty and have a dominant left eye. Has anyone else experienced this type of situation? The difference seems much more pronouned on cut shots down the rail.

You betcha. Same with me, but I need to compensate exactly differently than you. Just need to get used to it, and never forget it.

yup, I've known it forever. At this point I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the post I made about me getting glasses. The post title was, 'Am I seeing the ball where it is, or somewhere else'.

In Answers to a Pool Player's Prayers the auther has many in-depth analysis in regard to your question. It will take some time to read and understand. Although people have different respones in the past, to my knowledge it is the only book which focused on aiming and eyelines.
