I was just curious if anyone was in Vegas a couple of weeks ago and played in this?

Our team did ok. We went to the sportsman division and made it to the round of 32. Could have kept going but a few team members booked to come back on Friday morning. We looked to change flights but the money we could have won wouldn't have covered the expenses. Next year we will make sure to stay till the end.

How did everyone else do?

My team "going commando" did alright finishing 49-64. If we could of played a little better in our 9 am matches we coulda went quite about deeper in the draw
 
Yeah those 9am matches killed us as well.

My only complaint about the whole thing is handicaps (more of a local thing then Vegas). Our league will only allow x amount of "good" players per team to keep things fair for local matches. I totally understand this, but when you get to Vegas it really hurts with the teams that are all good players. I guess there isn't a real fair way to do it.

Our team was called "One Ball Wonders". We actually made it one round further than what the board said. We knew we couldn't play the next round and our final match came down to the final game. Winner of the game won the match. Kind of funny. Final score was 10-7 our guy. That being said we kind of flipped it so the other team could go on.

All worked out though. I saw they lost the next round anyways.
 
Our team also came in 49-64. Both matches we lost was the 9 am starting time, but it was fun and I hope to be able to do it again next year. Team name was 'One @ a Time'.
