ok... our player breaks and runs... ERO... sinks an opp ball on the break...

they say... it's a 10-1 loss ERO

I say its a 10-0 loss ERO

the final score is equal... the one point matters...


what do we do now?

this is legitimate .. it happened tonight.. we were tied for second going in to tonight... #1 got splattered.... so this one ball matters.....

I hope I understand the question right. Your teammate made one of their(opponent) balls on the break, so they get 1 point.

correct.. but they never got to the table...one of their balls happened to go down during our players break and run should they get credit for a slop ball during OUR runout?

I don't know if they should get credit, but I am pretty sure they do.
 
It's a 10-1 ERO. If the ball mattered so much then your player should have picked the other group that a ball went on the break if possible. He may have made a ball from each group and it wouldn't have mattered. Welcome to a league that scores based on points (good or bad).

Snorks is absolutely correct. I have broke and made several balls on the break, ran out and won 10-3 with an ERO without the opponent getting to the table. Suck it up, rules are rules. Seems fair to me!
