Volcano Tips?

I recently bought some Volcano tips off ebay. Cost me around 15 bucks for 5 pieces, and @ 3 bucks apiece, I figured I'd give em a try. To my surprise, they were actually really good tips for the money. I was just trying them out for sh@#s and giggles, since they are sold by KC, which is a Chinese cue production line, but it turns out the tips hit really solid. It's def a hard tip, and feels like a good lepro. Unlike lepros, this tip is really easy to shape, and grips the cueball better than a lepro. For some reason though, I want to say that this tip isn't pure leather- it feels like a composite of some sort.

Anyhow, anyone else around here ever try one of these? Did you like it? No?
