Just a sample of Wade's humor and witt which was endless.
He said some guys were sitting around talking at a tournament one time and one of the guys said that he had seen someone give Earl the 8 and 9 one time. Wade's reply was, yea and I gave David Howard the 5 and 9 once when we were both living in Atlanta, but he was only 9 years old.
His humor and witt were second to none even through the lean years he had experienced the last years, which I think speaks volumes for the man and his character.
Also would like to hear some opinions about the post I made yesterday about his great play in Asheville N.C. in the mid seventies.
