Walk On Song For John Higgins !

World Snooker Finals 2011 :

What a rough year that must have been for John Higgins.The N.O.T.W newspaper sting,the 6 months ban.His father being ill and having to fly home from the German Masters only to find out that his father had passed away.So at the World Snooker 2011,when John Played I played this song in the background,rooting for John to win for his father honour a tribute for all his fathers contribution to his son John Higgins Snooker career.

So I rooted for John Higgins but up against Judd Trump in the Final it was like 50/50 and whoever won thoroughly deserved the title but I had rooted for John Higgins and when he sealed the deal I thought John your father must be up in heaven looking down right now feeling so proud of you.

Here is the song that I blasted in the background when John played his matches at the 2011 Snooker Fnals while I viewed his matches up close at the TV thinking come on John do it for your father :

I was at that game, watching play on the other table, luckily. I thought the Ronnie/Ebbo match had finished early, because there was no noise at all. When the screen went back, Ronnie just looked so ill. He looked like an extra from One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

Funnily enough, that night helped cement my philosophy towards cuesports - they've GOT to be quick and entertaining.

Well I'm fed up already.No Snooker on our TV or Internet screens until the Worlds 2012 and I heard that the Scottish Masters in house tournament has been declared null and void this year but I haven't found out the reason why.So it looks like we have a few weeks spare to pass the time.To try to fill in the time let's have some suggestions for a Michaela Tabb Walk On Song.Now this one would have been perfect but Neil Young didn't include the colours White,Brown or Pink in the lyrics or it would have been the runaway winner :

Reading between the headlines,Stephen Hendry has retired and is offski to China to promote 8 ball pool so fair enough.Nice wee earner if you can get it but what happens when The World Snooker Senior Championship begins and Barry Hearn can't put bums on seats ? Will Barry recall Stephen Hendry and Tony Drago when nobody buys the tickets ?
