Walking around the table

Hi All,
Which direction do you tend to walk around the table?. I shoot right handed and find myself with a counterclockwise tendency. I will walk around the table counterclockwise to get to a shot I could step into clockwise with a few steps. How goofy is that?.

I don't always walk around the table. Unless something is not obvious or Im not sure what to do instantly. I heard that guys that walk around the table as a preshot routine bang their legs on the edges alot.

Yep I do the same thing!

Its just the way we are wired! :D

In Straight pool and One Pocket, I walk around the table quite a bit. Which direction depends on how the balls are lying. In 9 ball, almost never.

Hi,
Widdershins is an archaic word for anti-clockwise that's all. It's normally used in relation to witchcraft and the occult, though:eek: . It was always thought to be very bad luck if a clock started to move in the wrong direction- it supposedly summoned the devil I think. Maybe Dhakala uses black magic to improve his game or something;)

Anyway, hope this helps,
Chris (Chrstc).
