Hooks. Lots of hooks: https://www.google.com/search?q=chr...QA4EQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1536&bih=713&dpr=1.25I'm looking for creative ideas for hanging the (cue) bridges on the wall. I do not want to use the bridge hooks on the underside of table or lean the bridges against the wall. Please post your bridge holders. Thanks.
Thanks garczar ...looking for something like this.....just need to bring it out little. Was hoping someone did some custom stuff..
I like the simplicity of a chrome 'j' hook. Easy to get the crutch on/off .Thanks garczar ...looking for something like this.....just need to bring it out little. Was hoping someone did some custom stuff..
How about a moose head for your moose head.
Rail spikes.
Antler tips, real or faux.
Places like Hobby Lobby and Menards has all kinds of pre-drilled hooks like those mentioned.
You can use one of these and hang the bridge vertically by the bridge head.I'm looking for creative ideas for hanging the (cue) bridges on the wall.
i love the plaque on top.........This is what I do for now. Just set the bridge up there, and it stays put. Made the rack with some wood I had laying around just before I got my new Diamond, as it came close to the finish I was getting on the pool table. Wishing now I had made it a little bigger, but thats all the wood I had like that. I may rout in a shallow semicircle on the top edge so the bridge sits in another 3/8" or so, but the bridge hasn't fallen off yet.
If you find that people are putting up the bridge too hard and the end of the bridge handle might start marking up the wall, you can always easily and cheaply install something like from the link below. Search "wall guard", "wall stop", "door stop" and "door knob protector" and the like for lots of other variations on the same general idea. Thanks everyone. I kept it simple.
Thanks. I have a relative with a heavy hand. I have watch where and how he handles things. As for the rubber wrap...would love to have a video of the first time I tried to put one on a cue.If you find that people are putting up the bridge too hard and the end of the bridge handle might start marking up the wall, you can always easily and cheaply install something like from the link below. An alternative idea for not scratching the wall if that becomes an issue could be to put one of those rubber pool cue grips on the bridge handle making sure it goes to the very end and overhangs a hair. A similar but cheaper solution that you might already have laying around the house or that would be a couple bucks at Walmart is to cut a couple inch section out of a bicycle inner tire tube and put that around the very end of your bridge handle.
