Walt has a nice Palmer

This older gentleman challenged me to a game while practicing this morning. Out of a dilapidated leather case came this beautiful Palmer. I knew right away what it was and was a little scared. He said he bought it in 1972 for a hundred bucks. He would of beat me if he could see. I could tell he was a great shot. I hope his cataract surgery is a success. But he will probably beat me afterwards.

I have the same model F. Very solid hitting cue.

That’s super cool to see a guy with e same cue for 50 plus years.

Walt had his eye surgery(s). I played him after and still won nearly all games. He said he still needed to get other eye done. Played him a few weeks later with same result. I asked when he was getting other eye done. He said "Had it done a couple weeks ago". I feel bad that the eye surgeries didn't do him more good on the pool table, but hopefully more of a success in other areas.

I can sympathize with Walt. Cataract surgery was a disappointment for me as well.
