I have a falcon cue that I would like to have an extension made for. I would like one made in the same fashion as the mezz extension, only problem is that the only way I see an extension being able to screw into the butt is if the weight bolt in the butt was threaded at it's end so that the extension can screw into it. Pm me with prices if interested in assisting me with this build

old falcon
replaced the weight bolt with a uni-loc insert
made extention and installed uniloc pin
I think it was about 10 bucks at the time

Any cuemaker can help me out with this for my falcon cue?

I am sure almost any cuemaker in your area could help you out. One way to do it is to turn the head off the weight bolt and glue and turn it all the way into the cue. Fill the hole with wood, then put in an uniloc insert. The extension can then be made any length you like with a uniloc pin.

You lose the option of being able to change the weight bolt.

unfortunately my local cuemakers dont have enough experience in it to do this kind of work. already asked

I know that Ned Morris can do that for you. He'll probably fill it with Olive wood and then make the extension. Ned works out of his shop in Desert Hot Springs in Southern California near Palm Springs. PM me if you'd like his telephone number. You can see some of his work on his website morriscues.com.

I'm not a cuemaker but you could take a look at an extension I made for a Falcon for the same reason - I wanted the cue construction to remain totally unchanged, and at the same time I did care about not scratching it with the kinds of Longoni extensions. Search the forums by "extension" and my nickname to find that DIY thread.
