Want To Buy: My Old Skip Weston Cue. ***PICS ADDED***

Hey Gang,

This is a long shot but I'm looking for a Skip Weston cue. Specifically one that I had Skip build for me in 2005. I sold it here on AZ back a few years ago. Unfortunately l don't have the buyer's contact information anymore. Here is information on the cue.

4 point ebony cue with 4 veneers (inside out, orange, white, orange, black). White with green spec linen wrap. It had a 5/16-14 piloted ivory joint (I miss that nice soft hit). Ringwork at the joint and a Bushka ring. Ivory windows and dashed ring in the butt sleeve. Delrin butt cap. Two shafts.

Please PM or email me if you know the whereabouts of the cue or if you have it and would be willing to sell it back to me. I don't play pool much these days, so getting the cue back is more for sentimental reasons. If you have a similar cue by Skip Weston, please let me know as well. Thank you.

Bump. Still searching and hoping this is out there somewhere and it'll find it's way back to me. I'd consider a small finder's fee for anyone who puts me on the right track in locating my old Skip. Thanks!

Still searching for that elusive Skip Weston. Doesn't have to be specifically the one I listed here. My two caveats would be a piloted ivory joint and delrin buttcap. Anyone? Anything?

FASTNLOOSE had a killer Purple Heart Skip Weson... Think it ws Creative Hearts Q, it roced if you like Purpleheart.

Marcus sold or traded that cue. Trust me when I say I was P.O.'ed that I missed out on that cue.

Bruce and blemished...y'all talking about this one?

Just to clarify, the cue's name is 'Captive Hearts', made by Skip Weston. It was not made of purpleheart, but rather Bois de Rose, which is a rosewood. This is not the cue that Ricky is/has been searching for...I know this because I commissioned Skip to make this cue for me in Oct '05 and received it early May '06. I later had to part with it...and kept track of it through two owners, but have lost track of it since Marcus sold/traded it.

Lisa ====>liked Marcus' pic better than mine.

Hey that's my cue! I bought it from Marcus last year after my bushka Skip Weston was lost. Beautiful workmanship and the shafts are dense, 4.2 and 4.3 oz!

Yes, people. This is the cue (grumble, grumble) that I missed out on. If only I had known then what I know now...:boring2::grin-square:

Lisa and Pete, great to see this cue staying within AZ land!

Let me say this.. Skips cues are vastly undervalued and underappreciated. His level of perfection in the inlays and points are AS GOOD as anyones if not better.

Pete...thanks for the heads-up...nice to know where it is now, and that it is well loved. A lot of 'heart' and soul...pun intended...went into the design of this cue, and Skip executed it to perfection, as you well know. It is a beauty, isn't it?

But this thread isn't about this cue...this is about helping Ricky find his Skip again. Wish he still had pics...would make it much, much easier.
