Hi all,

I am looking for DVDs of the asian tour and/or other asian pool tournaments or matches.

Does anybody know if such DVDs are produced? I would think there is a company similar to Accu Stats (or what the guys at theactionreport are doing) in one of the Asian countries but I cannot find it anywhere. I'm guessing I'm missing out on the search results as long as I punch in english search terms in google.

I'd love to see some hardcore pool action from the asian players. Any information on this would be highly appreciated. you can either post here, or PM me.

Many Thanks,
Maarten.

I don't know about Asian tour matches but worldpoolchampionships.com has a number of dvds for sale with Asia's best players like Wu and Yang.

Yeah, I know that one, it links to http://www.matchroomsportdvd.com/ which sells DVDs from some of the matchroom events. I have spoken to the guy doing that a couple of times in Egmond aan Zee during the World Pool Masters / Mosconi Cup.

I already have some of them, but most of that stuff is widely available.

Still hoping to find some more dedicated asian pool matches on DVD.

Thanks,
Maarten.

I have more than 500 Asain tour DVDs. Most of them are Taiwanese, Japanese, and Phillipino players.
For instance, I got
all matches for 2004 & 2005 San Miguel Asian 9 ball tours
2006 & 2007 Guinness Asian 9 Ball tour.
all matchs for 2004, 2005, and 2006 Super Cup in Taiwan (Ralf Souquet, Yang, Wu, Chao, Mika, A. Pagulayan, Morris, Efren, Busta, ......).
all matchs for 2004, 2005, and 2006 Taiwan professional pool tours. (Ko, Wu, Yang, Chao, Liu, and a lot of top Taiwanese players).
I also have some old DVDs from Germany including 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996 WPC finals.
I have all the matchs for 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 WPCs.
I have all the matchs for 2006, and 2007 World Cup of Pool.

There are some great matches. For instance, In 2005 Super Cup, Yang Ching-Hsun ran 5 straight to close the match agaisnt Alex Pagulayan. 5-0

The thing is the language is either Germany or Mandarin. Besides, I don' t have time to make copies. I ask a part time student in my company to tape the game, edit them, and burn them to DVDs. They were unseen after made to DVDs so some of them probably can't be read.
