Looking to find someone to make me a set of joint protectors that match all three of my cues. I need a set for my Sledgehammer, my Schon with an extra shaft, and my unknown cue with a piloted 5/16-18 joint.

Any recommendations or cuemakers have time for this? I want something in cocobola or snakewood with my initials or something like that on the end.
Open to ideas, just looking to have all three cues match.

there was a nice set on ebay the other night for a stick and 2 shafts, for like 45 bucks. i think it was custom, nice looking but personally i cant see paying that for them, each his own

look them up on ebay, there's a guy that makes them and sells them there. i forgot what his username is. i bought some from him a while back, they were great. he makes some and puts them on ebay, he also takes custom orders. just do a search for joint protectors and find the guy selling all the custom ones.

I have a few sets from Steve Kornele as well as Chad McLennon of CAM custom cues. All of my j/p's for my personal collection are from CAM. I have quite a few sets in stock. Email me photos of your cues with pin size and number of shafts for each cue and I'll see what I have in stock.

Kornele JPs

I can HIGHLY recommend Steve Kornele for his JPs for that extra special touch. I've had about 7-8 sets of JPs made by Steve and they are truly nice. Just be sure to spec approximate joint diameter and have Steve shave down the pins a little on the really firm fitting shafts!!

I've even gotten custom JPs for my Rambow cue. Nice!!!!

And the pricing is very reasonable. Lastly, Steve always surprises me with how fast he is able to turn these things out. Big thumbs up here! You won't be disappointed.

How much did you paid for those? Man I got so many hoppes that need some nice joints protecting. :D

Email Steve Kornele and he'll quote you. It depends a little on the pin type and the materials used. Those are actually ivory rings on the Hoppe protectors. Steve offered to use ivorine at a slightly lower cost, but I figured "what the hell".

I got another set made for a purpleheart Bender Titlist Hoppe style.
