Hi all been reading the forums for awhile this is my first post.Nice site by the way .Well my question is i used to have a nice meucci but an old freind stole it from me(not my freind anymore).I been recently getting back into the game and im in need of a decent stick, sick of using my freinds problem is im getting married and cant really afford what i want so i was wondering if anyone had an extra decent 1 laying around for sale i havent had much luck looking on ebay and unfortunatly my better half would kill me if i spent the cash to get one at this time cause weddings cost alot .Mostly i see on here very expensive cutom cues for sale there way outta my range .

Im not real sure. yes i loved my stick i think i paid around 500 for it so it was a decent one .I just thought id see what got offered.but i defenatly cant afford say like 300 for a new basic joss.

I've got an older McDermott D-7 cue for $125 shipped within continental US.
You can see what it looks like by going to their website.

www.mcdermottcue.com
click on services
click retired cues
click D-series 1984-1990

It is D-7
Forearm on mine is stained blue.
One shaft, 13mm nice overall condition. I'd say it is about 80%. No major dings but could use a good shaft cleaning/buffing to get smooth.

I also have a Joss not so "sneaky" sneaky pete with a custom shaft (don't know from who). Has a hard hit and really nice. $200 shipped. 95% condition.

Meucci "propellor" cue, 4 points with veneers, inlays in each point and propellor shaped inlays in the butt. 13mm shaft (1), 95% condition. $275 shipped.

Not sure what you mean by cheap...

But if you want a really nice stick, look at the new:
Bob Frey cues at Cues N Things for $325 and up.

Or if you want cheaper,
Stacey Sneaky-Pete's at INDYQ for $295 and up.

Or if you want cheaper,
Call Roy and ask him about any thing he may have on the close outs but has not posted with pictures.

Good Luck,
Myron

I purchased a McDermott MG5 from their competitor series from beadsandbilliards.com with a hard case shipped for $144.00 You might be able to save an extra 5% by entering happynewyear in the discount window... It's the first cue I bought and I thought it had great balance and a solid feel to the hit....My son shoots with it now and I still use a McDermott it ain't a custom but I really like it, and that's the important thing.
