Wanted Masse' cue

I have a article on them in a couple year old Pool newspaper, that talks about what goes into making them etc etc. I saved it. I don't remember if it said who makes them, but if you want it, i could bring it to work and photo copy it and fax or snail mail it to you.:)

I have that as well it was a story about diekman and how he makes them, just ain't got the time right now to put one together

What kind of price range are you looking for? Here in The Netherlands masse (or artistic) cues are readily available. They start around 70 euros and for a decent one you're probably looking at 150 or so, going up as high as you want.

First off his correct name is Dieckman, not Diekman! The articles can be found in Professor Qball magazine and was written in in Two Parts. His masse cue start at $800.00. See http://www.cuemaker.com . All written material can be found on this site.
 
I'm getting a Deakkmen in the next few weeks. I've shot with one and loved it. Dennis Daecman sure has it figued out. I'm looking forward to getting it. I'm going to make him a commercial/video of a ton of my masse shots showing off his cue. Dennis Freakman should get a medal for building some of the best cues ever. They really are magic wandzzzz as he calls them.

At least nobody spelled it "Dykeman", which is kind of an oxymoron now that I look at it. Shoot! Did I spell that correctly?
 
You may spell Dieckman numerous ways. You forgot Deskman. But he still build one of the best masse cue been use, sorry ! Correction Magik Wandzzzzz. True - Schuler and other make masse cue. But look who got a DIECKMAN MASSE cue
 
Ya, Dennis is the guy. The alternative is an old bar cue, put a nice tip on it and bang away till you know how that is. Make sure you film yourself at all times.:eek: Makes for entertaining video footage. Send copy's to www.jamisonneu.com
I have to say this. Learn how to masse before you start adding wieght to your cue. Nothing worse than a guy that can't really masse shooting with a Dieckman. The real deal is if you really know how then you can use any cue...
Dennis builds a cue that makes them easy for you, thats the magic part.

I see Dieckman is building you another Masse Cue? Players like Massey, Rossman and You---- (Yes Psykoyow you are included) with the other artistic players are bringing the MASSE CUE to the forefront with your tournament and TV times. Well Done.

Stealth Cues

Thats right Stealth does sell a masse cue it works real well also. Very affordable solution for someone just starting down the wrong path. (trick shots) I am just really forgetful sometimes.:confused: I have one and used it last week trying some insane masse shot that should never be tried.:eek: poor table...I will say you will not find a better group of people to deal with. Stealth is a great company filled with very trustworthy people. I actually got my daughter her first cue from Stealth. It's hot pink just the way she wanted.

Yes, Gabriel Leigh does build masse cue and seem to have reasonable price, also has a very nice website - showing some of the step in building a masse cue. But his information and how to build came from Dieckman's "Build a Masse Cue" article written for Professor QBall magazine.

How many have actually seem and use a true masse cue? Since it a speciality cue and problem never see one on ebay. Check out http://www.LONGONICUES.com They may build masse cue or a shaft for masse.
 
The masse cue I use now, since I haven't gotten my kcieDman yet is a Lucasi but with the shaft cut down about 12", then referruled and tipped. Stefano told me long ago to ditch the idea of a masse cue for now (back in 04) and just cut a shaft down. So, for the last 2 year I've been working with that, alongside my full cues. I appreciate Stefano's saving me the money back in 04, but I'm ready to step up. I advise anyone wanting a masse cue to do what I did. That cue has taken a pounding and kept on going. I have shot 100 masse shots with it today alone and will keep using it in my shows and competitions, despite the clear packaging tape holding on part of the Irish linen.

Jamison, I'm now shooting masse-jump shots with a 10oz cue, instead of my Lucasi masse cue with added weight. I have the Lucasi jump/break cue and two shafts. One shaft has the phenolic tip/ferrule, the other has a triangle tip. The cue is a 3pc. I take out the middle section so I'm using the thick butt with the full shaft with a triangle tip. It is light enough to get the jump and the tip is grippy enough to get the grab. I'll film some pretty soon. It works easier that way and it's not so hard on the wrist.

I still want to make a video this summer. I have a few ideas. Namely, I want to both Minguad Masse on the count of three on opposite sides of the table. If we filmed it a bunch, I'm sure one would be timed just right so that we both make the shot at the same time. Your thoughts?
 
psykoyow - You may never recieve your kcieDman Masse Cue. But I did read at http://www.cuemaker.com in the What Izzz a Masse Cue section, that Dieckman was building you a Masse Cue.

Any cue could ingenious be make into a Masse Cue. But why not have the Best of the Best !!!!

Psykoyow,I heard rumor you should have that Dieckman very shorty. So you can start shooting your video.
