I am putting together a short biography of Jay Flowers the case maker and am looking for any usable pictures, stories, and general info.
If you send me a picture of your Flowers case then I will be happy to post it on the website with your story about it.
I know Jay was a player as well and I saw that he placed well in some notable tournaments in the 80s according to the AccuStats magazines scans I saw. At least I think it's the same Jay Flowers. So any stories about him playing would be appreciated as well.
Most of you know that I started a line of cases to pay tribute to Jay's case making and any information I can get will be used for the purpose of expounding on the type and style of case that Jay created and preserving that part of billiards history. Just know that the info will be used on a website that is dedicated to selling the new line so if that bothers you please don't send anything. Whatever I do receive and use however will be freely available for other historians to use and reference, such as the Blue Book or the Billiard Encyclopedia, provided that it's alright with the copyright owners.
So, thanks in advance for anything you can help with.
