wanted: predator 314-2, z-2 or ob1

that cue has a special pechauer only joint on it... i dont think a typical 5/16x14 joint shaft would fit.. its that new quick release version they have been using.. your best bet would be to call pechaur and ask them directly if a shaft like that would fit...

damn...i'll have to check that...it might be going back on ebay LOL
it should bring what i paid for it if that is the case....its a 300 dollar cue on pechauer's site...for 132 bucks thats a pretty good deal in my opinion...and before i shot with a 314-2 i thought pechauers shot great

I have the wrapless version of that cue, it was the first cue I ever bought that I'm still proud to use. The Pechauer speed joint is actually not all that special. You can attach any shaft with a flat-faced 5/16-14 joint, as long as you mill out 1 cm (~3/8") of the threads in the shaft insert. In other words, with a 5/16-14 jointed shaft in hand, use a 21/64" drill bit and drill 3/8" down into the shaft's insert, thereby removing the first 4 or 5 thread turns. Viola, you've got a custom modified speed joint!

If you're not comfortable with machining yourself, any cue maker/shop can do this for you. It's a 10 minute job. Can't imagine it costing more than $20 MAX. Hell, I'd do it for you for $10 :)
