Hiya guys,

Bama sent me a set of rings that he got from Joe Callaluca. They match the ringwork already found on my J.C. cue. I called a couple folks local to me to spin up a Predator blank with these rings installed...but either everybody is on an extended X-mas vacation, or they don't pay their phone bill.....and nobody's called me back yet.

Anybody out there have a great "shaft man" that can drum up a matching Predator shaft? Any of our resident cuemakers that would be willing to take it on?......Mr. Petree, are you listening??? :)

The link to my J.C. cue is below...in my signature block (far right side). I have the rings in hand, and would love to send them out to somebody that can hook me up with another shaft for my cue.

Please hit me up if you can steer me in a right direction.

you could try todd elkins @ parrot cue in richmond Va, 804-358-7665. He does excellent work and prices are reasonable.

I thought about that....but figured most of those folks were talking "shop" about lathes, CNC machines, etc.

Since there are a few folks in here that make cues, and since I'm actually wanting to buy the shaft and pay for the work, I figured this would be a better bet.

Wanted to chose one of the two threads, 'cuz I didn't want to have to check 2 different sets of answers.

You may want to think twice before having Petree do this for you!

He does such fantastic work that you'll be spoiled and will never want to use anyone else. :p

As Petree gets more product on the market, he will become known as one of the greats. You heard it here first!

Um, well, uh, during the Christmas season, I, uh, maybe I don't get out...well, time is always...ya see, I'm soooo busy right now...pool takes time and I have these customers...with money...uh, what I'm tryin' to say is that, well, maybe I haven't exactly, you know, actually, if ya wanna get technical about it, I kinda haven't actually hit with the Scruggs yet...my priorities are screwed up and, OMG, I need help! Somebody HELP me!

I have used Jacoby in the past a few times and every one has been perfect. It usually takes about 6 weeks though. Just in case petree doesn't work out.
