Simon.. etal ..
Just for your 'gee whiz' folder.. the Mottey in question belongs to
Mr. William Grassley of Cornerstone. This should officially solve the mystery.
Note: Simon.. email to you shortly. Brett
Yep,i thought it was don at the show but now i remember, the mottey and cash for the fancy gina bill sold me at valley forge!

Cue buddies..

We should all be as fortunate to have friends like Simon. He's a true class act and I've dealt with him in the past on cues. I can say with out a doubt he's one of the most trustworthy people I know. He's been my eyes and ears abroad and I am honored to do the same for him here in the states anytime. ALL OF YOU SCAMMING FOOLS, GET A JOB! I have your back here in the states, mate. Just let someone try to get over on you on MY watch! Scammers beware... we have our resources and we'll use em'. Simon my friend, my doors are always open to you and yours anytime you visit the states. Don't forget that checkbook though like we discussed so we can take a little trip south and score some treasures. :D Michael

Having purchased from Simon "the Diamond" in the past (Espiritu), I found him to be an extremely "stand-up" first rate person to deal with. If he urges caution on a matter, I would exercise caution.

Damn...

My family, as far as I can tell, must be sending me subliminal messages from Maryland which is my home town, through members of AZbilliards. Yeah, yeah, I miss home and all of the pool action like nobodys business. My wife and I are planning another trip back home around the holidays so PLEASE cut it out with the subliminal stuff. Bamacues probably has other more important things to discuss on this forum. Until then I miss you all and i hope to see you soon. FYI I got Simon's sweet Mottey from him and I hope it made it's way home. It was as far as I know his favorite cue. He's a good man. Michael

Just giving everyone a heads up on this auction. I am unsure of it being a scam but a few things point to it being the case. If it is not, I unreservedly apologise to the seller. Seen too many people go down with scam deals to ignore this one though......

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=21212&item=7168215335&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

My Evidence......

1) These pictures of this particular Mottey were used in 2 previous scam auctions.

2) Why do a 1 day auction on such an expensive cue?

3) He lives in England (where I live) apparently, in a town 2 miles from my home. I am pretty sure I would know of this person and this cue if it was in my town. I am the ONLY person in West Yorkshire that makes these purchases and people come to me to buy one if they do. This is a fact.

I have bid on the cue and told the seller if I win, I will pass by his place and pay cash. It seems to me this seller has had his account hacked and his password stolen. Previous sellers with hacked accounts have told me they are abroad and need the money sending to Japan or the U.S. Yeah, right!!!!

He is selling a Cognoscenti too. Most of these cues come from one source over here in England.....me.

Just giving everyone the facts before a potential mistake is made. I hope I am wrong but I don't think I am. I will report back later.

Simon D'Vali

Are you talking about the Scruggs with the 14k carrat gold? That's been relisted.... I believe it was originally advertised on cue auctions as having cracks in buttsleeve but there's no mention of that in the ebay listing.

The scruggs photos are mine also and scott sherbine refinished the cue also and a guy bought it on his website after the deby! Ask Scott
