Note:This thread may be somewhat disturbing, because it may cause you to reflect on when this awful thing happened to you(try not to have any anger filled flash backs and go bonkers in your response .I do understand)
Whose ever been the victim of an "aerial assault?"-well, I have.. and I have shot a few A.B.'s off myself(luckily, I did eventually make good on them) ..
Once I played a guy 20 a game 9ball,I had him 5 games loser at 20/game on the coin(I knew that was a mistake from the beginning, but I knew I was stealing) besides the fact that I had $50 of his money in my pocket to begin with(he raised the bet from 10 to 20 a game and I made him square up before we began play again) and I halfway knew the guy because he'd come around every now and then and he'd love to gamble .could'nt play a lick ,but loved to gamble.-So anyway,he tells me that he's got to run to the ATM to get some money(the ATM/bank is maybe 60 yards from the pool room)I believed him because I already had won 50 from him and I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He said he'll be right back,he left his cue and case and ID at the bar and I felt that would be good enough. after all,I could just watch him walk to the atm outside .He could not be that much of a loser right?-WRONG! ...This guy walked outside and motioned towards the bank..I turned and went back to my table(big mistake)..5,10,15 minutes pass- no guy! ..I go outside, and that guy was gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..Completely out of sight..Adios,Arrevederci,Sayonara,Au revoir,So long and farewell to my money!! ...I was as hot as a cast iron skillet ..
This guy had a bogus ID and he left his stick(I pawned it for $50) which was probably stolen anyway .This happened 4 years ago,and I have not seen his face at the pool room since(I don't think I will) ..Funny thing is,a few people knew him in the pool room, but know one really "knew" him enough to identify where he lived or who he really hung around.
I learned a valuable lesson:Never play a guy on the coin .Always either post up,or pay by the game .
Anyone here has ever been shot by an air barrel?
