The only part of a cue that needs to be consistent is from the tip to the bridge length.
Anything between the bridge and where you are holding the cue does not matter.It may mess with you mind, but the function will not be effected.
I'd be willing to bet it is not fully cored but only the forearm is cored.... the warp is probably at the A joint.... between the forearm and the handle.............
