I hope that's correct. Common sense tells me that old wood is done moving around, but things affect wood more than other materials. Humidity, heat and cold, etc... but to hear a cuemaker tell me not to convert my older cues bcuz they'd warp blew my hair back a bit. Hence my op.The opposite is usually true. Old maple is less likely to warp when tapering.
