I owned a gilbert cue and had a 3/8 10 tiger x shaft with sniper tip that played great. I usually play with the original shaft that comes from the cuemaker and am not going to buy an aftermarket(predator, tiger, ob1,etc...) in most cases. But in the future if i do decide to buy one, my experience with the tiger will probably make me go with them. I think its unfortunate that ONE persons(to my knowledge, in the other post) bad experience with a tiger shaft warping is getting all this bad press. I doubt that there is a cue maker or company out there who hasn't had shafts warp. virtually all of these are not warrantied as warpage is often times the result of poor maintenance(extreme hot, cold, etc..) I am not saying that is what happened in the case of ABall, but there simply is no way of knowing. I usually stay out of threads such as these(painpool;sores) but usually there is one group of people on one side and another group on the other and it seems to turn into a popularity contest. I have no ties to corey harper and tiger products as i have never met him or spoken to him. but i will say that he seems to be a nice guy and handles himself and his company in a very professional manner and i respect that.
