That is a possibility, just one more indication that this ‘mechanic’ didn’t really know a whole lot about doing tables.I have had the same thing happen to me. There was a small gap where a coin could slip underneath the rail. I asked Glen Hancock and he told me they didn't trim the cloth under the rails causing the extra cloth to act like a shim between the bottom of the rail and the slate top. If you were to flip the rails upside down, you will notice the cloth is not trimmed correctly. I bet the cloth over rides the lip of the rail.
We’re still waiting to see what the upshot is with this guy.
