Please suggest a few rooms in WashDC area. Not looking for action just a nice place to play. I have a relative traveling there next week. He asked for a few referrals. Thanks, Frank

the best equipment in DC is at Qball 1 on central ave about a mile or so inside the 495 beltway. great room, not too big, about a dozen or so tables, all gold crown, and tight pockets. most everyone there plays one pocket. very clean and very friendly.

owner is Larry

located on the south side of central ave in small shopping center. lots of action from small to big. i wouldn't want to miss this room if i were visiting like you.

When I read your title I thought you were looking for poolrooms with nice washrooms. Best one I have seen so far is maybe Griff's in Vegas

Best bathrooms matter. Since we’re on the subject ..Newbies poolroom Phila Pa had a sign in the bathroom. It read... If you Pee on the floor at home please pee on the floor here ... we want you to feel at home.

in actual downtown DC, there’s nothing better than Bedrock Billiards in Adams Morgan. There are 5 tables so I’d avoid Monday n Tuesday as those are league nights n all tables are used late into the night.

And by all acounts, the worst one was the previous pool hall establishment (Pool Sharks?) before Mark and crew renovated.

Usually, the wash vicinity is in the back corner.

At first I thought ‘WashDC’ was something about draining the swamp.

Do check out our app as well. The GoPlayPool App.
All pool rooms listed, all sizes with table info and count. Plus league and tournaments availability as well as other amenities.

The App is free and hope you like it. Do share!
Thank you

Bedrock is definitely the place to go if you're in the city.

QBall 1 is good, but not close enough to take a cab.

Revolution (AKA Fast Eddie's) in Springfield is pretty good too, but also a hike from the city.
