No pun but I have Far2Go. .........................I'm hitting balls like I'm aiming for a open window.
When the young guys used to ask me what advice I had for them to improve, I always told them to quit immediately and sell their pool stuff.
It's a fun game but to put the hours into it some of us did has proven to be a waste of thousands of hours that could have been spent on more worthy causes.
Sure, I win money once in a while but it is definitely not worth the time, money, and an entire room in my house.
Since this is where I am, may as well shoot a game.

There are some good points in what you say. If you can't have fun and what you do I think it would be a waste of time. Although, I think there is an entertainment value involved in an endeavor like yours that can make it very worthwhile. Vanity, maybe, what will we think in our dying days?
Same.. I have no life because of pool so I might as well continue to play. Catch 22. here.
Do any pool halls provide a magic rack?
Ive been to Amsterdam, Carom, Gotham and Skyline, not one room offers a free magic rack.
Why would I pay to own and carry one when poolrooms should have them free? They can just bulk order with promotional marketing on the triangle.

Do the racks have legs. Would you leave a deposit if a room had them? Would you be willing to pay a higher hourly fee to accommodate the MR’s. Be happy the room has nice tables with a good set up. I’d bring my own if I really liked using it. That way I know I have it.
Bring this up where you play. Suggest it to them and see the reaction.
Me? I need a magic cue lately. I can’t rely on talent.
After a lifetime of playing I realize I never amounted to anything......depends on how you look at it, how much is the time spent with friends playing a sport you love worth? I was so bad at this game I couldn't even beat my little sister, I can play a little now, I love this game, I'll bet you do too, what does that amount too? Priceless.
It amounts to more cues than brains. Higher blood pressure. Frustration and aggravation. Cuss a lot. But to be serious .. a lifetime of fun. Could never get enough of it. Met some seriously nice people. Made some good trustworthy friendships. Can play good enough to enjoy the game. Would not trade it for anything.

With the wrong attitude, it sure can become these things. The wiser individuals will not let frustration and aggravation, cussing, dominate their play. I think it gets to everybody after a while, but those who are smart enough know how to avoid too much of it.

Most rooms have the rack and quarter inch thick’s worth.
They are very cheap to make. You can call up advertisers who make signs or window signs. They can print up a bunch for very little and cut the inserts for you.
This is advice for owners if they want to go this route. It would end up being a disposable product to the public.

Those tip tools are also trash. You won’t need it with a good tip. Tips have a lifespan. Change them every year or every 2 years.

You miscued because Taom doesnt mix well with master. You need to wipe your tip off first. If you own your own table and keep it in decent condition the Taom chalk is worth every penny. No more skids. No more blue fingers and the balls look clean and shiny for 10x longer. Tables stay cleaner for 10x longer. I don't think it "performs" better then Master but everything else about it is better.

Dr Dave has a video that reflects what you are saying. As far as miscues are concerned, Master and most other chalks perform as well as Taom. Where Taom excels at is keeping your cue ball and table clean. A clean cue ball and table do have performance benefits.
I would hope all rooms have a rack with each table. Usually there's even a place to store a triangle right on the table.
