High speed connections (DSL or cable) will get a great picture. Dial up users however will have to endure the 56K or 100K stream. Unfortunately, this is the nature of it right now, but is definately the wave of the future.

We tried the file deliver system, but there just wasn't enough interest and it really was too big of a file for most users. The stream gives us the virtuallity of a channel, where viewers can stop by and watch at their leisure without having to spend too much time, effort or money.

At this time, we believe it's worth sacrificing quality for convenience. Please continue to log in and watch. This is the only way we can measure veiwership.

The program is also on CABLE TV. the schedule and channel information is on our site at www.billiardclub.net.

havent seen a new one in about 2 weeks. I realize I
shouldnt complain...because its free... but they should
at least do what they say they gonna do.

either way... I think BCtv is doing alot to get pool on TV.
Good job.

Please accept our apology. Our streaming partner shut down for the holidays causing a delay in service. New content will be posted first of next week.

Also, we initially had three programs posted at once, but because of the overwhelming response and bandwidth issues, we scaled back to just one show.

Thanks for the support.

Happy New Year!

This is some Outstanding stuff!
A BIG thanks' from those of us who don't have any access to U.S. television at our locations.

I have cable and I was just amazed at the quality of the picture and sound!!! I put it on full screen and it was like watching my TV! Awesome!!

I hope this is a wave of the future. I'm so sick of ESPN covereage! And, my cable company doesn't carry any of the Billiards channels so I'm stuck with ESPN!

I think the BCtv is something that should have happened a long time ago. It's great. The quality is very good and there is also a possibility of large bandwidth usage. I just hope the network provider has reserved enough bandwidth for the growing amount of people. Especially people who live outside the coverage of ESPN or other cable networks which broadcast pool are grateful, as myself being one of them. I hope the concept becomes a standard and continues well without any problems.

If there would be a file download possibility included it would be nice, especially for the people behind the really fast connections.

...I hope the concept becomes a standard and continues well without any problems...
Thanks for all the support.

We've been producing billiard entertainment programs for over two years now, having our roots in the VHS distribution to BCn member clubs. Accu-Stats and Matchroom Sport have been a big part of our initial development.

Thanks also goes to our sponsors who see the vision of billiard broadcast network, cable, online or otherwise.

Over 50,000 households weekly watch BCtv on cable through Sunshine Network and Empire Sports Network, and our international distribution of the U S Open is broader than any other billiard event produced in the US.

The point here, is that we've invested a great deal into the billiard market and will continue to do so, but we need to see return for that investment at some point or it will not continue or become a standard as you hope.

Please register to watch the show online. Registration and viewing are FREE! Signing up for the "Newsletter" is not an official registration. Be sure to click on the video player and follow the instructions.

You'll need to be registered to watch the Derby City Classic LIVE online!

Thanks again.
