Yang breaks and packets 1 and 3. Has a tester on the 2 and misses. Made a 2-way shot CB behind the 7. Amir goes airborne. No dice and left the 2 on for Yang. Yang is short on the position for the 4. Yang clears the rest and is up again 6 - 5.
 
Amir breaks dry yet again. Yang has a 1 on the top right packet. Yang is short of phase for the position on the 2, but can see a hairline. Amir has a chance to even up. Amir clears a tought cut on the 2 and gets position on the 3. Clears to 6 and got short on the 7. Goes for the bank but sold out. Yang clear and is up 7 - 5.
 
Yang breaks and packets the 1 and 5. A 2 - 9 combo is in the offer. Yang misses the combo. Amir response back, but comes short on the 8 and pays bigtime. Yang now is up 8 - 5.
 
Amir breaks and gets the 2. Has a shot on the 1 and makes it. Clears the rest of the table for another B and R. Yang still up 8 - 6.
 
Yang breaks dry. No clear packet on the 1 hampered by the 6. Amir goes for cover. Yang kicks and offers a 1 - 3 combo. Amir fires and makes it. No clear packet yet again for the 1. Amir goes for the thinnest of a reverse cut and makes it. He now has a clear table. Amir misses on the 8 yet again. Yang has a long 8 on top and 9 on the bottom. Yang misses that and Amir finally gets it. Amir is on the heels of Yang yet again. Yang 8 - 7.
 
Amir breaks and makes the 2. A B&R in the offing. Falls short of position on the 4 and gets punished with a out of position and tough 5. Amir bangles the safety living Yang an easy bank. Yang goes for cover instead. Amir goes for a 3 rail kick and hits the 5. Yang has a long 5 and no extension. Yang shoots and makes it with position on the 6. Stuns the 7 and got short on the 8th. Cuts the tough 8 and clears the 9 next. Yang 9 - 7.
 
Yang breaks and gets 4. Sees a hairline of the 1 and takes cover. Amir kicks and hits the 1 and nearly flukes the 9. Yang has a tough rail cut on the 1. Yang goes for it and misses. Amir clears again and is on the heels of Yang yet again. 9 - 8 to Yang.
 
Amir fires blank yet again. Yang pushes. Amir takes cover. Yang kicks and accidentally makes the 1, but has a hairline on the 2. Amir goes for the tough 2 and misses, but leaves Yang a table lenght of a 2. Yang fires a reverse bank on the 2 and makes it. CB gets hampered by the 5 and snookers himself. Yang goes for airmiles as there is a possible 3 - 9 combo if he can't hit this. Amir misses the easiest of 3 and flukes a snooker. Yang kicks, but leave nothing for Amir. Amir tries the toughest of 3 - 7 combo and misses. Yang thins cut the 3 and makes it. Yang has the clear view of the hill. Yang gets on the hill 10 - 8.
 
Yang breaks and gets 2 and 6 with a shot on the 1 to win this match. Yang clears and wins the match and takes the Singapore leg. 11 - 8.

So far this season, it's been the Taiwanese. Chang, Yang, Chang, Yang...
 
I was there at the event for Day 2 and 3 and the atmosphere was just fantastic.

Of course, alex was a treat. the two matches on the tv table (q-final and s-final) were very enjoyable as he connected well with the crowd. he even got Amir into the act as well. lots of stuff you don't see or hear while watching the telecast that happens.

i did get some photos and will post them in a day or two after i'm done processing heh!
 
Congrat to Yang.:)

Sad to say there is only 1 break-clear when Alex is taking on that Malaysia guy. The score was 11-13.
