Watch me kicking and banking!

And how do you figure you would get spammed?

I only send what people register to receive.

Ask anyone of my 3000+ members if I've ever spammed them?

Not once have I sent people anything they didn't know they were getting from me. Please don't accuse me of being a spammer again.

Richard.

Well you posted a link saying that people could view a pool video and then It goes to a page asking for my name and e-mail address. Your post alone could be considered spam since you are less than honest about the link going directly to your advertisement and make it look like the link is going to a video of you doing kick shots.

Yep, you're right... I posted a link for people to go watch a video, and it is exactly on the landing page from the link I posted.

You can watch the video WITHOUT signing up for anything. That choice is yours once you get there. But the video is freely available for anyone to watch without giving me their name and email address.

Check the link again, I think you missed the boat the first time.

I'm with Christopher on this. This is not your free advertising commercial site -it's a forum. I couldn't get it to play without registering either.

Yeah. What's this spam all about? And who are you selling e-mail addresses to?

Chris

I just watched it and didn't have to register.

If you see a message warning you that you need the latest version of flash, that's where the video is.

Thanks Zeeder :)

For you other two people, here's a picture, sorry to prove you guys wrong, but you must be doing something absolutely not right...

No one. I've never sold, rented or given out anyone's email addresses.
I can attest to that. He has my email from awhile back, and I've never gotten any email I didn't ask for.

I continue to get that my player needs to be updated though I have and rebooted a couple of times now.

Depending on your browser, you may need to actually remove the old player.
That's macromedia's fault, not mine.

If you are using windows, go to your control panel/add remove programs and rremove any instance of Macromedia Flash Player

If you are using internet exlorer, do this after you've done the above step:

Open a new IE window.
Click on the Tools Menu
Select Internet Options
Under the Temporary Internet Files heading, click Settings
Find and click the View Objects button
Select and delete any instance of Shockwave Flash Object that you see there.

Reboot your computer, and go here and try to install the player again

Let me know how that works.

I agree with Marissa. I havent recieved any spam, and i had Richard's site linked to the email that i use for more important subjects.

BTW, great stuff Richard!

Omg

What would be your comment about these two different styles?

That's ok.

Macromedia is making it difficult for end users to upgrade their players to take advantage of the new video compression and streaming features they are trying to sell people like me.

In time you may accidently install it on your computer and whoa, you'll get to see me bang a few balls :)

For those of you who like me, want the latest version of everything but are experiencing problems installing Macromedia Flash Player version 8, then this link at their site may help you figure out what's going on...
