Water slide signature sticker question

I'm refinishing a cue and I have a replacement water slide decal sticker of the cue makers signature. My question is how long do I need to wait after applying the decal to apply my clear coat? I just don't want the sticker residue to show up after I apply finish to it.

If there is no surface moisture you can shoot immediately.
