I recently had Wayne Holmes of Waxhaw, NC make me my first custom cue.
I was hoping you guys could post some pics of other cues he has constructed over the years. There aren't a whole lot of pics on the web and I just want to see what I may get.

I can tell you first hand you will absolutely love his work. I have an eight point he just finished for me and I'll post pictures tomorrow.

I was impressed with how the overall finish brought out the colors of the woods. He is currently making another for my brother in law and one more for myself.

I have played with and had my hands on lots of cues over the years and I can tell you first hand you will be impressed, and his work is as good as any high dollar cue maker I've seen. I had my doubts since he's so low key but all of the guys I talked to that have had and played with his cues have all had good things to say, they were right and I was totally satisfied. I don't know the extent of your dealings with him but Wayne's customer service and response times are outstanding.

With that said its a great playing cue, nice dink and just the right amount of feeling in the butt after contact. 8-ball Rat here had or still does have one of his cues and at one point I think he had two done by Wayne, check with him if you'd like another opinion. What kind of cue is he making you?

Wayne Holmes--Excellent work and Class Act

I had Wayne Holmes make me an eight pointer (Cocobola and Ebony with ivory inlays) on highly figured curly maple and thought he did an outstanding job. The cue hits great. You'll love the taper on his shafts. I'm attempting to attach a couple of photos of the cue he made for me. I highly recommend Wayne.

You're correct, Bishop. I've owned 4 Wayne Holmes cues, thusfar. I'm having him make me another one next summer, too.

Wayne's cues play EXTREMELY well...and his fit and finish is definitely up there with the competition, for sure.

Durham.....I have no doubt that you'll be thrilled with your cue from Wayne. He's one of the nicest guys in the world to deal with....and his cues are fantastic!

Congrats on a great cue choice!

Those are some big ass diamonds in the butt!
The forearm of both of those cues shown look a lot like my Espiritu.:)
