Hello azbilliards users I want ask about JD CUES anyone try them or still playing with them ?

I have one and I use an ob shaft with it. It plays good. You get a lot of work for a cheap price
 
Yep. Especially his recent cues. They are very nice/loaded/pretty for the price. I don't care much about the shaft(s), you can always use the butt only with your fav shafts, can't you?

Don't know what you mean don't care much about the shafts.

JD Cues

I have one that plays every bit as well as higher end cues I have hit with. If you buy one, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

I have 3 of them and like them all. All of them have stayed straight and without any finish problems or inlay lifting. Joel's work is excellent. You get a lot for your money from Joel. He is great to work with and honest as can be. I would not hesitate to buy a cue of his or work directly with him on a custom cue. One of his cues I took to Phoenix Az and it has endured summers in my condo stored with the inside temp approaching 90 degrees without any issues. Certainly, a cue from the Phillipines subjected to Phoenix low humidity and high temps for three years should have warped but its absolutely straight and plays wonderfully.

I got mine and love the look of the cue. The wrap fell off and the finish wasn't good. I had Steve Klapp refinish it. Even with the extra work it is still a deal and it is a beautiful cue. Joel was willing to refinish it and redo the wrap but I wasn't willing to bulls**t my way through the customs paperwork. I had one of my shafts turned down to 11.75 and am very happy with the feel.
 
I love JD's cues waiting on my final one (or so i think its the final one :) ).

I own 4 of his and I have to say they are the best bang for the buck you can get,all I do is put a good tip on them and re-taper the shafts.I quit using the OB,Tiger-x and Predator shafts I own after doing this!
I have 5 JD's for sale and eight more on the way so if you want one let me know and I'll send pics..
