Sir, larry did post that buddy hall had a weak stroke. I looked for it, and did not find it. But he did write it.
Look back about ivory ferrules and ask the cuemaker topics, and you will find that larry said mike and i both were trained by bob. Larry said, I am only a messenger, bob told me this. Bob could of told him, but it's not so.
This is not true.

Screw all that. Blud seems like a rational, helpful person. There is no denying that he is extremely educated in the making of cues. So what if you dont care about cuemaking, then just dont read his posts. If someone does have a question on it, let him spread his knowledge. Just let the individual member chose what he wants to read and ask questions on, and if they dont want to read a certain topic then skip it instead of crying about it.

According to the information at the top of your last post in this thread, you have 668 posts on this board (is that only since they've revamped it). I've been lurking and posting here for 7 years and for you to 'think' or point out that I'm a 'blud troublemaker' is laughable. Blud what you have written is nothing but lies. You made up lies about FL, he has challenged you to prove them and you cannot. You lied, it is just that simple. Making up lies to make people think FL is running down and posting negative things about Sigel and Hall. That was a mean spirited and a really low down pole cat move. You really stink. You wanted people to believe that. Then they would think he’s stupid to say that and then they would attack him.

I have taken several lessons from the guy and here is the deal. His stroke, he has copied it from Sigel. He teaches a Sigel stroke and many of the things Buddy Hall does. He is constantly talking about each one and citing examples of what they do and how to copy them. He holds both in the highest regard and frankly sort of reveres both of them. He has signed autographs of both of them hanging on his wall of champions in his studio.

When the entire CCB board went after Sigel I remember FL being the only one for a week to defend the guy, day after day, he beat them back until others came in to help him. He taught me Buddy Halls stroke is perfect, totally pure. What I heard FL say and what you are now saying are in total conflict. You sir have lied, big time here. He never said Halls stroke was weak. What he said was this, buddy halls game is boring to watch, because he plays perfect. Watching short straight in shot one right after another is boring. That is what perfect pool is, boring. Hall has it perfected, using center ball and going from slight angle to slight angle. FL said his game is really exciting because he is all over the joint losing angles and being forced to bank and cut 90 degrees to keep his runs going. Hall, its short straight in, short straight in, boring, very boring. It was not an attack on Hall, in fact it was FL’s highest compliment he could bestow. You can stop tearing the threads apart all night long blud looking for FL saying anything negative about Halls stroke, it is not there. FL teaches Halls boring game of center ball going from angle to angle. I have it down and it has done wonders for my game. I am becoming boring to watch as well, I under stand now what FL was saying.

So what’s the deal here, you guys run out of old lies to tell about fl so you have to cook up some new ones. Nobody should be able to post lies and get Scott clean away with it without some punishment.

I think you should have to play with a Meucci for a month, with a plastic ferrule and joint, that should be a fair sentence. When the circus comes to town you should have to go wash the elephants every day and clean their teeth. A community service court order or something like that.

You bring shame on your self and on your fellow cue makers. You just cannot play fair, can you? No wonder they threw you out of the management of the main cue makers association, I guess they got sick of your little games as well. Jake I totally agree, move the entire cue repair and cue makers and their threads off of the main board and give them their own sub sections for their discussions. If this is done it will clean up the board over night. Once this was pointed out to me and one does begin to study what is going on it becomes quite clear Blud and his dealers have hi jacked the board and are using and controlling it to push their products and their names. What have vanished are the players talking pool like they once did. This board is a wasteland now with nothing but bickering and attacks. I find it to be not a pleasant trip into pool land like it once was. Most of the posters other than the cue people have stopped posting, left or are hiding. Something does need to change Jake, you are correct on this one. Perhaps if more speak out on this issue their needs will be addressed.

I am rather new to this forum, but I am a longtime fan of POOL, and when I look into a forum such as this, I'm really interested in anecdotes and stories about pool, the great players, gambling, humorous incidents, and maybe some healthy debate on things that affect the game (such as the banning of jump cues and "contraptions" people might invent), so long as it doesn't evolve into a pissing match of some sort... I am not looking for the bickering, name-calling, egoistic soap box verbosity or any other displays of self-promotion, commercial or otherwise....Thank you.
