As I pulled into the parking lot of Jimmy's Billiards last night I noticed two guys getting out of an old beat up pick-up. One had been in the Orlando area before. I'll call him Moe (I doubt that either one can read or has ever heard of the internet, but just to be on the safe side I won't use their real names). When Moe was here before he would donate his weekly paycheck to anyone willing to play him pool. They didn't have to be very good cause Moe couldn't play at all.
The young fella with Moe, I'll call him Curley, was carring a cue. Moe had come back for revenge and Curley was his secret weapon.
As they entered the bulding they split up so as not to be noticed. Moe went over to the bartender and asked where the money players were. The bartenter remembered Moe and how he played and said "Ask anyone, I'm sure you'll get a game". Moe was soon in action.
Jesse, a local player, had been watching everthing and soon made his way over to Moe and asked, "What about your buddy over there, does he play?" Moe, obviously sticking to the plan, said "That's not my buddy, I just met him at the bar but you can ask him". Jesse asked, and Curley quickly agreed to some $50.00 sets. Their plan was working to perfection, but as it turned out there was one major flaw in their plan. Curley couldn't play pool either. If anything, Curley was worst than Moe.
Curley soon quit Jesse, but Moe had already made another game for him. It was with a player who plays slightly better than Jesse..
Neither member of this dynamic duo is smart enough to be discourged from getting beat, so i'm sure when they wake up today they will be planning where to strike next. If your lucky and it's your room, don't blow their cover, remember their not together....
