- Double elimination. 8-Ball on the winner’s side, 9-Ball on the loser’s side.
- You do NOT have to be a league member to play. However, APA players must play at their APA skill level. Non (or non-current) APA League players will be rated on the spot by the tournament director. These assigned ratings will be based on the skill levels of KNOWN APA players.
- The races on the winner’s and loser’s side will be based on the chart below. Skill level 8 players must add a game to the skill level 7 shown on the chart below.
- Practice begins at 10:30am. You must be signed up and present by 12:30pm. Matches will begin at 1:00pm.
- There will be a 64 player limit. - The entry fee is still only $20. - Prize money will be paid out to 1⁄4 of the field.
- There will be two brackets. The high side (S/L 5 and up) players play other high side players. Low side players (S/L 4 and under) will play other low side players. Winner of the high side plays winner of the low side based on the above reference chart to determine 1st and 2nd place. The same format will be followed for 3rd and 4th place, 5th and 6th place etc.
- If the 8-Ball or 9-Ball is made on the break, it will be spotted up and the breaker continues to shoot.
ALL DECISIONS BY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR ARE FINAL.
