weight bolt questions

All I get is six words?

Hi

A few newbie questions about weight bolts and such:

1) I have a 1998 Joss with the weight bolt stuck firm. When I insert the correct allen key in the bolt head, it feels springy. No idea what's happening down there. Any advice?

2) When changing the weight with bolts, do you have to take the existing one out first, or can you just add another behind it? The Joss is internally threaded all the way down the butt and I only want to add 3/4 oz. Existing bolt won't come out. See above.

3) Different topic - what's the best way to clean a very smelly (smoke and sweat) linen wrap. For anyone who ever might have to shake hands with me - cue is pre-owned, I didn't do it!

thanks folks,

Steven

ps: posted this in the main forum before I realized it should be here... apologies for the mistake.

If there is a few threads behind the weight bolt just try adding a short piece behind to see how it feels, if you like it after shooting with it for awhile then glue it in.--Leonard

Steven,
I have sent you a weight "fix-um" kit by mail. You should have it soon.
