Weight bolt thread size for Koda pool cue butt

I am using a Koda butt for my break cue setup. I want to drop some weight but cannot figure out the thread size on the weight bolt. Looks to be either a 1/2" or a 12mm but I cannot determine the thread pitch. Have tried different 12mm pitches and different 1/2"x20 threads but no luck.

He may not be that mechanically inclined. Replacing a different size weight bolt he might be able to do. No malice intent Dude if you cant do it or find the particular thread, etc. Just bite the bullet and take it to cuemaker or repair guy They shouldn't charge must unless it's seized in there, Sounds like you already have it out--+

I can cut it down but really need a nut to thread onto it beforehand to help deburr the threads after the cut. Plus I would like to be more precise in how much weight I remove.

Unfortunately the closest shop to me is an 85 mile round trip and won't be open until Monday. Unless I can figure something out tomorrow then I'll be making that trip.

Go to Lowes/Home Depot and try different nuts on it. Brian.

Stopped at Rural King earlier today but no luck. Planning to try Tractor Supply tomorrow, then Lowes, Home Depot and Menards. Luckily they are all located near each other!!

You are wasting your time. If you found two 1/2" thread pitches and one or two M12, you won't find anything different at any of the other farm stores. There is a small chance that you could find a couple of other M12 threads at an auto parts store.

Or, you could stop effing around and buy a metric thread pitch gauge and a pair of calipers.

I'm not "effing around". I asked a question that I hoped could be answered. Your smart ass response is uncalled for and not appreciated. Get off your high horse. Put me on your ignore list and I will put you on mine.
