Weight bolts

Hi everybody, please help me with some answers.

I have a Joss 69 cue (http://www.seyberts.com/products/Joss_69_Pool_Cue-101482-10234.html), and I want to buy a weight kit for it. The Seyberts support, told me that OB Weight kit (http://www.seyberts.com/products/OB_Cue_Weight_Kit-103928-10512.html) is working fine for Joss cues.

The questions are:
1) Is OB kit good for Joss cues?
2) How I put a weight bolt in the cue butt? (Just screw the bolt in the wood, or there should be a metallic threads)?
3) Should I unscrew the original weight bolt?
4) If I want to add, for example 2.60 oz to my 19 oz cue, should I insert 3 weight bolts (1.03oz + 0.96 oz+0.4oz), is there enough room for all 3?

The problem is that I'm ordering the kit in Europe, so if it's not good, I can't just send it back, shipping fee are pretty high.

Any replies? I never changed weight bolt, so I have no idea.

I want to buy a extension for my cue, and add a little weight, make something like Strickland cue :)

I think I can help!

Yes, the OB weight kit is fine for the Joss cues.

However,Joss does offer one as well.

The bolts do screw directly into the cue, and you can stack them to achieve the weight you are looking for.

Just remember a few things:
1. Bottom all weight bolts. Don't try to adjust the balance by not screwing the bolt in all the way. They need to be tightened against something.
2. Don't over tighten and strip the threads. While this is almost impossible with the longer bolts, the shorter ones that don't engage that many threads can strip out the threads in the butt. This is not a good thing!

You can't go wrong with Seyberts or Joss. All are good people.

Thank you a lot, those are the answers I want. I'll go with Seyberts, and that will be my first OB product, and I'm sure not the last one.
