Hi there,

I´m from Europe and we don´t gamble nearly as much here as you guys do in the States. Therefore I have no idea what such things as the twelve ball ghost or the orange crush mean. The seven and the break I can follow, but all these other terms.....puzzling.

I´d love to have an as complete as possible list of all the spots you can give someone with a description of what they actually are, and where possible in order of biggest spot to smallest spot. This last thing might be difficult because it depends on the opponent aswell. Let´s just say you´re playing a strong allround player, but obviously no world beater otherwise you´d be asking for weight. On a side note I assumed weight and spots are exactly the same, am I correct?

If someone asks you to play the 12ball ghost... it means you rack, break, then take ball in hand, and try to run out with ball in hand.

Someone who asks you to play the 12 ball ghost is usually either trying to be a smart ass, or is a scrub.

Basically your gunna be racking, breaking, taking ball in hand and trying to run out while they watch you, and usually trying to shark you. Often times something like this is given at a certain odds, ie ill give u 5:1 odds playing the 12 ball ghost. This means you bet for instance $10 a rack, if you lose you lose $10, if you win you win $50.

Hope this helps

PS- dont play the ghost for money, unless u robb the 9ball ghost, then find someone to give u good odds :)
