Would you say the Eight is more weight than the last two or vice verse? Just wondering

The math would suggest the wild 8 is a greater spot (but not much).

1. Every scratch give opponent 2 opportunities to make possible combo or carom for win.

2. Two balls in play for win during break.

Among to short stops or better both spots are small.

if the 8 is wild it is a huge leap over the last 2. if it's called 8 it's a small leap. you have chances for combos and caroms (and a lucky roll if it's wild) to end the rack early. whereas the last two you're plaing down the rack to get to those last two.
