 Two nights ago, here in Las Vegas,I ran into a WPBA pro.We did not get to talk to each other very much, because of tight schedule ,while we were at USOpen in Albuquerque 2 weeks ago.She told me that during the US Open one spectator approached her and asked for her autograph on a cue Ball and told her that it was actually requested by Vagabond ( He used my real name according to this pro)Ofcourse she signed it for him.She said that she has seen this spectator in the USOpen in the previous years.
Women pros are very nice to the spectators and sign the autographs whoever approaches them. They do not need any recomendations from others or name dropping.

Why was this spectator using my name?Who could it be that knew my real name?
I did not associate with any males at this event this year or in the previous years other than one of our AZ posters.
It is silly & weird!!!!!!!!

Hmm, a question arises: Was this mysterious person a fan of the WPBA pro or a fan of yours ? :D

Better keep your eyes peeled on eBay.

It wasn't me, Vagabond....geez...I couldn't remember your whole name for the life of me---even if you wrote it down. I do remember Deanna (sp?) M. writing it down, though. Are you sure it was a man?

And did the pro write your name on the ball?...If so, she'd need a basketball. :D

Hi,
That thought did not enter my mind.since u mentioned,it is possible. But people who meet me will quickly know that I like women only.
Tell me what is it about eBay.I never used that. :cool

Vagabond,
It definitely WASN'T ME!! I've been tied down here in Indy. I am unfortunately only able to stalk....er...attend one tournament a year (in Peoria). Besides, I already have the autograph of just about every modern pool player - well, except yours.

I'm not hitting them very well lately....been trying to keep a BCA team together and players are be-aching, quitting (two so far), not showing up, etc. This tends to distract from one's shooting ability, it seems. I see it as a new challenge, though, and will become better by the time all is said and done. ;)

I drove past the new pool hall last night about 7:00 and there were at least 50 cars in the parking lot, so I'd say this is good, for a Sunday anyway.

Stop by for lunch (I owe you one) if you're coming through the state.

Not me either-I dont collect autographs (i have only one) and i don't know your full name either.

Although it is strange-that's the way many are-strange. Don't worry about it.

I think she is pulling your leg.

How many people know your name?

The person might have "dropped" your name as the pro was signing the ball.

Any of the women refuse to sign balls?

Martin and Sigel want to be paid.

Hi,
Not many men know my name.
Women players sign on what ever u give to them and they are very nice to their spectators.

The whole thing is weird.

You're gettin' there. You'll know you've arrived only when somebody or a few start calling for a BAN. ;) (total outrage counts for a lot too)

just a concern-how the people can use names of others with out that other person knowing that their name is used.
