Weirdest break shot I ever saw.

I just did it. Sorry, I did not get it on video and it will never happen again. I was breaking off the right side of the rack. The break ball hit the point of the pocket, shot up in the air straight back towards the head of the table, bounced once on top of the rail and dropped the the right corner pocket on the head rail.

I quit playing for the night.

That's pretty nuts - the weirdest thing that has happened to me (and it has done this several times) is that sometimes I undercut the break ball into one of the corners and it goes 4 rails into the called pocket.

The weirdest one I've ever had was playing 9-ball. I broke, the cue ball jumped into the air after hitting the rack bounced off the table and stopped dead on top of the rail. Damndest thing I've ever seen.

Coolest jump off the table shot I've ever encountered was at a bar in Cincinnati called Woody's. This would have been back in the late 80's. They had a coin table in the back of the bar. Off to the corner of the room just away from the table was the mens restroom. My friend jumped the cue ball off the table towards the mens room at the exact same time a guy was coming out. The cue ball was headed straight at him and without a flinch he just reached out and caught the ball before it hit him. Guess you had to be there but it was pretty frickin' cool.

The most ridiculous one I ever saw was when a league opponent of mine, playing a standard side-of-the-pack breakshot miscued badly and it went in anyway off the pack.

Here is a strange one I made last fall, my keyball was underneath the breakball and I had to draw 2 rails and back out to the middle of the table. I blew it badly and came way short leaving myself on the other side of the stack, my breakball was in perfect position on the other side of the stack about middle stack and 3 inches distance from the stack. It appeared a kiss in the stack lined up onto the breakball for a cross side bank, I let it loose and it went in dead center cross side. I was on a 56, had to shoot it then I missed at 65
