Thanks Juanito, I love this website! I've been a frequent visitor - almost daily - written about tournaments and known Mike since 2001 US Open, but I've probably been a member of AzBilliards TV minder much longer than that. I am really looking forward to this forum. I've heard great stuff about it.
 
I play on the Florida Pro Tour, as many events as my work schedule will allow, which aren't as many as I would like. I also play the Us Open 9 Ball each year since 2001 and other independent events. I plan on going to Reno next year.
 
I already know the story behind this, but can you give us the story behind the nickname Pablo?

The roster shows you played four times prior to the final stop. Two finishes 13-16. Not bad. They always have a tough group of players.

When will the 2005 schedule be out?

Right on! Did you beat me? lol You still haven't given your name. Who are you? I lived in Corona at that time, but still Riverside county. I loved Mr Cues' sandwiches. Did you ever play in my handicapped 9 ball tournaments? I got a 9-on-the-break- jackpot up to $1499. Steve Leistikow won it.

My name is Gabe, but everyone in the poolhalls called me Mike jr. my dad is Mike Boyce, we had a poolhall up in Hesperia back then. No I didn't beat you, you beat pretty good that night, I think I quit after 3-4 sets, I played real bad that night and got clobbered. My mom lives in Corona now, that town is really growing.
Where are you in Florida? I lived out there for 4 years, Key West for 2 and St. Pete for 2. Didn't play pool at all when I was there. I just started playing again last year after 10 years away.

Yes, I know I didn't get to play many. The fields are almost world-class, very tough competition to say the least. I do wish we didn't have such a problem with humidity and heat during play. I have played in the most brutal conditions, humid and around 85 to 90 degrees in the room, right in the middle of summer, definitely around 100 degrees or more outside and 200% humidity! lol

I never did play in any tournaments a Mr. Cues, always went there for the late nite action. There was always action in that room!

Well, why didn't you sign up long ago? We need more like you Pablo, guys that are in the trenches with the big boys, grinding away for their shot at big time. What goes through your mind when you're in a match and it's a battle, run out after run out, safety battles, hill-hill, win or lose, what's going through your mind? The tour you play on is one of the best, from what I've heard, so I'd like to hear about some of your recent matches and what tournaments you plan on playing in the near future. Oh, one more thing, if you ever make it out this way, you got the 8 for dinner. :D
 
yeah pablo... i was playin around at the starbucks 9-ball tournament with you and rob. You shut me out man D8!.
