I had a great time again. Of course, a lot of the trip depends on who you're with and what you do with your time. My team did well, 4th place in the open. Brian Gregg, one of my past teammates, won the Masters 8-ball. I got to spend some time having a couple of beers with the guys from Mn., Ty Wilson, Jamie Pluta, Derek McMasters. We had a blast at the Splash Bar. Even though I played horrible, I still had fun. The whole event, from everything I saw, went smooth. They have a great staff running the tournament. The people running the main desk are always friendly and helpful. The parties in the parking lot and by the pool are always fun. The band at the Suds and Chips mixer was different this year, they were ok, but not as good as the past years.
That's my story,
Had a great time. As posted, Brian Gregg was awesome.
Had a chance to play the great Craig Riley in 8-ball singles. Took him to the Hill first and lost on a dry break. Great thrill to play that solid even though I lost.
The new Intermedate Division was full of champions. The Tournament needed to weed out the Open Teams...good job.
Jerry Briesath did his normal great job of instructional work.
